If you are after network storage you have come to the right place.
The network storage is available outside of the network also in case you need access.
Storage is currently limited to selected people.
If you live here you will have an account your username will be firstnameinitial_surname e.g. a_harrison. Your password will be your D.O.B in the form of 6 digits in the format DDMMYY e.g 150523 is the 15th of May 2023. This is then followed by your initials in the format of Xx so the initials AB would become Ab. Lastly add a “!” on the end. So If your birthday is 12/01/2007 and your initials are BD your password would be 100107Bd!
To access storage on Windows see below:
- Open file explorer or press windows key + e.
- Right click on “this pc” on the left pane in file explorer
- Select “Map network drive”.
- Select a drive letter (if you want to)
- Type in the folder box: “\\WIN-SRVR19\YOURNAME” replace “YOURNAME” with your first name all lowercase
- select both checkboxes and click next
- Enter your username which is firstnameinitial_surname e.g. a_harrison
- Enter your password which is your date of birth in 6 digits. The format is DDMMYY. This make the 14/2/2020: 100220. This is followed by your intials in the format of Xx. Addan exclamation mark on the end. See above paragraph for more information.
- Click connect and you should be connected to the file server.
You can also access the file server on mobile however you will need to find an app that supports SMB shares.
